Terms of use

Simple rules for using this free image compression service.

Last updated: 07/10/2026

1. Free service

This service is completely free: there is no payment, subscription or account, and therefore no paid contract. It is funded by discreet advertising. By using it you accept these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What we do

We compress images (and some documents) that you upload to reduce the file size. Some formats use lossy compression: quality may decrease according to the level you choose. Always keep a copy of the original.

3. Permitted use

You may use the service for personal or professional purposes, provided that:

  • you have the rights or permission for the images you upload;
  • you do not upload illegal content (for example, child sexual abuse material or incitement to hatred or violence) or content that infringes third-party rights;
  • you do not try to bypass the technical limits (for example, the limit of 30 compressions per hour) or overload the service with abusive automated requests;
  • you do not exploit security flaws or use the service to distribute malicious software.

4. Your content

The images remain yours. We claim no rights over them and process them only to provide the service. The original is not stored; the result is available for 30 days at a random address and you can delete it earlier with the × button. More details in the privacy policy.

5. Availability and changes

The service is provided as it stands, with no guarantee of continuous availability. We may change, limit or suspend the service (or parts of it) at any time, including to prevent abuse, without prior notice.

6. Limitation of liability

Given its free nature, the service is provided “as is”, without guarantees of results, fitness for a particular purpose or absence of errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses or damages arising from use of the service, including loss of data or image quality. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or rights that the law does not allow to be excluded.

7. Intellectual property

The site, software, name and logo belong to the service operator. You may not copy them or use them in a way that suggests an affiliation with us without permission.

8. Ads and third-party links

The service may display third-party ads and links. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices; please read their own policies.

9. Personal data

Personal data processing is described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.

11. Governing law and contact

Portuguese law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory rights you enjoy as a consumer in your country of residence. Consumers may turn to alternative dispute resolution bodies (consumidor.gov.pt). For any question, contact Contact.
